As you all know by now...our team for the NASCAR Foundation Track walk in Texas claimed victory! We were the highest fund raising team earning a total of 1602.00 for the Foundation and for the Speedway Children's Charities. AWESOME!!

This could not have been done without the help and generous donations by our members of the campsite. I hope that our next track walk will be bigger and better...and this will be the first of many times one of our members will get to walk the stage to present a check to this very important charity.

I am already planning our next Track Walk Challenge for next years Texas Spring race.

As most of you know nascarcamping.com was created and driven by a very generous man. In his honor, I started a nascarcamping team page for the Texas track walk. My original goal was to raise 500.00. However, Mr. "NascarCamping" pledged to match our donations up to 500.00. That goal was quickly blown out of the water by many generous donations of our members. My goal to our members was for everyone to donate 5.00 toward the cause.

I am personally inspired by Chris and the work he does, and want us to meet and shatter the new goal of 750.00 by next week. So, if you haven't already donated...please take a few minutes and donate 5.00 online toward the cause and to honor Chris!

Sorry, II am just now reading my mail I have been out of town and missed the Bristol race, your boy did much better. I am in a fantasy Nascar league and had Burton to win. So I am happy. M'ville seems like it is such a difficult track to race at. Hard to pass. It usually is boring to watch on TV but probably great to go see.
